Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding

On June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives from local political and social forces attended the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
