Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the groups most in need. Additionally, social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
