Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which is planned to last two years, aims especially to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the ^’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups.

Social transportation services, support services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.
