Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in ^’ the operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of ^’ the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.

Activities and Expected Goals

Activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker categories.

Public transportation services, support centers, listening centers, and gathering spots will also be enhanced.
