On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale de Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and meeting centers will be established.
