Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding and Community Involvement

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most disadvantaged social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last for two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker categories. Social transport services and institutions, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
