Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding for Community Inclusion
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On early June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Activities and Planned Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for categories most at risk.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will be enhanced.
