Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding for Vulnerable Groups
Start of the agreement and participants
On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most disadvantaged social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer associations.

The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed by regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
