Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding for Vulnerable Groups
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighbourhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additional improvements will be made to social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places.
