On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and EU funds.
