Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with EU Funding and Community Involvement

Start of the agreement and participants

On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was signed at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the implementation of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of seniors and disabled residents within the municipality. The total allocated funds for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.
