Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Local Cooperation
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the date of June 1996 entry, a convention was held in the lounge of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the socially most vulnerable groups.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various voluntary organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.

The project intends to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for meetings and solidarity among citizens.
