Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Local Partnerships
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European community funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable categories.
Additionally, social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
