Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Local Stakeholders
Start of the agreement and participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighbourhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community grants.
Proposed activities and goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for weaker categories.
Social transport services, support services, listening centres, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
