Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most disadvantaged social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteering organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will have a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
