Start of the Agreement and Participants

On June 9, 1996, an agreement was signed in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda concerning a project targeted at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included some representatives of local political and social forces, such as the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteering organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
