Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Regional Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need. Social transport, as well as listening and gathering centers, will also be enhanced.
