Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Regional Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer associations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last for two years, aims mainly to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable categories. Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be strengthened.
