Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Regional Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which lasts for two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the initiative is about one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups.

Additionally, social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will be enhanced.
