Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Regional Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the socially most vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces took part in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteering organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
