Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Regional Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of entry in June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total funds allocated for the implementation of the’ initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be expanded.
