Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Regional Funding

Start of the agreement and participants

On the day of June 1996 entries, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project supporting the socially weaker individuals.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteering associations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the^’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker sections of the community.

Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will also be enhanced.
