Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total allocated amount for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.
Planned Activities and Specific Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
