On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for signing a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community resources.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker groups. Social transports will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
