On the day early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which will last two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to around one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European sources.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker groups. Social transport will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
