Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Regional Funding and Community Involvement

Start of the agreement and participants
On the day of June 1996 entries, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable people socially.
Several representatives of local political and social forces took part in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, lasting two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.
Planned activities and goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transportation and services will also be strengthened, along with listening centers and gathering spaces.
