Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative’s implementation is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
