Cornuda Agreement
On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last two years, is particularly aimed at improving the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and meeting centers will be established.
The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the people involved, also creating opportunities for gathering and solidarity among citizens.
Role of Institutions and Associations
The Municipal Administration has committed itself to supporting the initiatives, ensuring security services and coordination among the various involved components.
Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, guaranteeing the active participation of the local community.
