On early June 1996, an agreement was signed at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly people and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Community funds.
