Cornuda Social Support Project Promotes Inclusion and Community Care
Cornuda Agreement
On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved the participation of some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.
Planned activities and objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the people involved, creating opportunities for social interaction and solidarity among citizens.
Role of institutions and associations
The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.
The volunteer associations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.
