Cornuda Social Support Project Promotes Vulnerable Group Integration

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participating in the event were some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
The project aims to promote social integration and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.
Role of Institutions and Associations
The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved parties.
Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.
