Cornuda Social Welfare Project Launches to Support Vulnerable Citizens
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable individuals.
A few representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transportation, services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.

l’ Comune Administration has committed to supporting the initiative, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the different involved components.
