Cornuda Social Welfare Project Launches to Support Vulnerable Groups

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total budget allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need. Additionally, social transports and institutions, listening centers, and gathering places will be strengthened.
