Cornuda Social Welfare Project Promotes Inclusion and Community Support
Start of the agreement and participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.
Activities and planned goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training, and socialization courses for the categories most in need.
Transportation services, social services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.
The role of institutions and associations
the Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the different involved components.
Volunteer organizations will play a central role in’ organization and management of activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.
