Cornuda’s 1996 Social Inclusion Project Boosts Elderly and Disabled Care

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most disadvantaged social groups.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various voluntary organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Union funds.
