Cornuda’s 1996 Social Inclusion Project: Local Partnerships and Goals
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of entry in June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the socially most vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer associations.
Goals and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.
Activities and Expected Objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.
Social transports and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.

The Role of Institutions and Associations
the Municipal Administration has committed to support the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in’ the organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation of the local community.
