Cornuda’s 1996 Social Inclusion Project Supported by Local Authorities and Volunteers

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project in support of the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives from local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.
