Corteno Golgi: photographic exhibition on memory and cultural identity
Corteno Golgi will host a photographic exhibition by Carlo Deflorian titled “Guardian and Witness,” a cultural event that will take place from August 2 to August 31, 2025, at the Conference Hall of the Camillo Golgi Museum. This exhibition, organized by the Fotoclub Moniga, features a selection of 40 large-format photographs that tell stories of everyday life through Deflorian’s lens, who is a former commander of the State Forestry Corps station. The images provide an evocative glimpse into a rural world rich in traditions and authentic relationships.
The inauguration of the exhibition will be held on Saturday, August 2, at 5:00 PM and will be open daily, except Thursdays, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Admission is free, and the project is supported by the Municipality of Corteno Golgi and various local organizations, making this exhibition an important opportunity to reflect on collective memory and the cultural identity of the area.
