The Plan for the Right to Education approved by the Council of Desenzano del Garda has faced strong criticism from the opposition, which has pointed out the lack of adequate discussion and the increase in school fees. City council members, including Stefano Terzi and Maria Vittoria Papa, expressed concern over the absence of new initiatives in the plan, labeling it a mere reiteration of previous measures. According to opposition members, families will have to contend with a 5.4% rise in service costs, with no alternatives considered to ease the financial burden. Furthermore, a specific critique has emerged regarding the management of the school cafeteria, with calls for concrete actions to address previously reported issues. Beatrice Gabusi emphasized the lack of clear projects to improve the service and resolve critical issues, such as the quality of food served to students. Opposition representatives reiterated their willingness to engage in dialogue, hoping for a more innovative and strategic approach to truly ensure the right to education within the community.
