Cyclist accident in Valvestino: a mountain biker injured
A incident in Valvestino involved a 43-year-old cyclist who fell this afternoon while descending the road from Armo towards Turano. The man, riding his mountain bike, lost control at the first bend of Via Trento, skidding and sustaining injuries to his limbs and body. Fortunately, according to eyewitness accounts at the scene, he did not appear to be in life-threatening condition, as he was conscious and able to move his limbs.
Due to the remote location of the incident, the intervention of a helicopter from the Civil Hospitals of Brescia was required, which landed in Turano to facilitate the transport of the injured cyclist. An ambulance from the Volontari del Garda took care of transferring the cyclist from the accident site to the helicopter landing point.
