Recent developments regarding the management of beach facilities in Desenzano have sparked debates and concerns among local cooperatives. The municipality has extended the assignment of the kiosk and equipped beach to the Sole Sereno cooperative until January 15, which has managed these facilities since 2015, in order to ensure continuity during the holiday season. Meanwhile, preparations are underway for a new tender for the management of the Desenzanino beach, with the company Hola srl already provisionally awarded the contract thanks to a bid of €269,000 per year, set to last until 2040. The social cooperative La Cascina, which previously managed the service, submitted a bid that was over €251,000 lower per year and ranked fifth in the evaluation.
