Desenzano and water quality: investigation on the sewage system of Lake Garda
An investigation into the sewage system of Desenzano and the surrounding municipalities aims to assess what remains to be done to ensure a “Clean Lake.” The meeting will take place on Friday, November 14, at 7 PM at the A.N.P.I. Basso Garda headquarters, located at Via Einaudi 22 in Sirmione, where the M5S Territorial Group of Garda will present the results of a self-funded research project. This initiative focuses on the microbiological analysis of water samples collected from 25 discharge points along the Brescia coast of the Lake Garda, from Sirmione to Toscolano Maderno, to understand the impact of sewage networks on water quality. The collected data will provide an updated overview of the presence of sewage discharges and their environmental consequences, helping to outline the necessary actions to improve the health of the lake. The meeting is open to the public and represents an important opportunity to discuss issues related to environmental protection and the daily lives of residents along the lakeshores.
