Desenzano Choral Concert: Third Edition by Local Choirs at Cathedral

Choral singing review scheduled for Saturday evening at 9 PM in the Desenzano del Garda Cathedral. Now in its seventh edition, the review is organized by the «Coro S. Maria Maddalena» of the Desenzano Cathedral with the patronage of the Assessorato alla cultura. Three choirs are participating in this event: the «Coro S. Maria Maddalena» of Desenzano Cathedral, conducted by Gigi Bertagna; the «Corale S. Martino» of S. Martino della Battaglia, conducted by Anita Prati; the «Corale Gilberto Pagliari» of Rivalta sul Mincio (MN), conducted by Giuseppe Ostini.

Objectives of the event

This is an opportunity for the choirs to perform, outside liturgical celebrations, important and meaningful pieces resulting from their cultural and musical work. The program will include compositions by G. P. Luigi da Palestrina, O. di Lazze, Haydn, Sibelius, and J. S. Bach. Entry is free of charge.
