Desenzano: manslaughter and Folli autopsy underway

A mystery surrounds the death of Cristopher Folli, the 36-year-old who passed away Tuesday evening in his home in San Martino, where he reportedly collapsed during a discussion with the manager of the grocery store below. The autopsy on Folli’s body, initially scheduled for yesterday, has been postponed by 24 hours and will take place today to clarify the circumstances of his death. The Brescia Prosecutor’s Office has opened a case for unintentional homicide, suggesting that the 50-year-old owner of the establishment may have indirectly caused the victim’s death. During a two-hour interrogation, the man provided his account of the events without facing any challenges from the prosecutor. The death was reported to emergency services after 9 PM by friends who were present at the time of the incident, who witnessed Folli collapse to the ground in a pool of blood. The initial examination revealed no signs of violence on the body; however, investigators continue to examine the crime scene, and the victim’s apartment remains sealed off as they search for further clues in this tragic case that has impacted the local community.
