Desenzano Naval Exhibition Highlights Battleships and Italy’s Maritime Heritage

An interesting exhibition has been organized in Desenzano by the Municipality (Department of Culture) with the support of the Lega Navale Italiana section of Brescia-Desenzano, under the patronage of the Italian Navy.

This exhibition is dedicated to battleships that have sailed the seas, and it will be open from tomorrow, November 10th, until December 2nd, at the Palazzo Todeschini Civic Gallery. It is a highly topical exhibit, especially as Italy is currently engaged in the war in Afghanistan, and the aircraft carrier «Guiseppe Garibaldi» will be deployed to the Persian Gulf with its vertical takeoff aircraft.

Opening and visiting hours

The opening ceremony of the exhibition is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon at 5 PM in the Palazzo Todeschini Civic Gallery. Public visiting hours are as follows: Tuesday to Thursday from 10 AM to 12 PM and from 3 PM to 7 PM; Friday to Sunday from 10 AM to 12 PM, 3 PM to 7 PM, and 9 PM to 11 PM. The gallery is closed on Mondays.
