A new earthquake has been felt in the Upper Garda region, raising concerns among the local population. The 3.0 magnitude quake, which occurred during the night between Tuesday, May 20, and Wednesday, May 21, had its epicenter approximately 2 kilometers northeast of Trambileno, in the province of Trento, at an estimated depth of 2 kilometers. According to the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), the earthquake struck at 00:37 and, although it caused no damage or injuries, it was felt in several locations up to 20 kilometers from the epicenter, including Arco, Dro, Nago-Torbole, and Riva del Garda.
This seismic event is part of a context of mild seismic activity that has affected the region in recent months.
