Traffic Jams and Delays on the Lower Garda for Easter Monday characterized the day of April 21, 2025, with a heavy influx of vehicles heading towards the tourist destinations in the area. The roads between the provinces of Brescia and Verona experienced long queues starting in the morning, particularly on the A4 stretch from Brescia Centro to Peschiera del Garda. An accident that occurred mid-morning further exacerbated the situation, causing disruptions both entering and exiting the Peschiera interchange.
In the afternoon, traffic remained congested, especially in the direction towards Brescia, with significant repercussions between Peschiera and Desenzano. It is expected that the delays will begin to ease only in the late afternoon, when the flow of traffic should return to normal.
