Eliodoro Youth Project Launches In My Place for Young People and Families

A new Eliodoro project, “Eliodoro giovani In My Place,” will be presented on Wednesday, 26 August at 5:30 pm in the “Sala Dialogo dei Verbiti” in Riva del Garda (Via Venezia 47), aiming to support young people and families facing relationship difficulties, social isolation, or disability. The initiative is promoted by the social cooperative Eliodoro ETS, active in the Alto Garda area for over 25 years.

The “My Place” service is for people aged 16 to 30 who struggle to build or maintain meaningful relationships. It will run on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm at the inter-municipal youth center “Cantiere 26” in Arco. Access is direct, with no formal request from social services: after an initial meeting, participants can attend freely. The project also includes a free, confidential listening desk for caregivers and family members of people with disabilities or vulnerabilities, led by a qualified psychologist, plus monthly self-help groups across the Alto Garda family district municipalities (Riva del Garda, Arco, Dro, Tenno, and Ledro), with two pathways for parents of minors and for families of adults.
