A detonation operation for explosive ordnance disposal is scheduled for Monday, February 10, in Mori, following the discovery of two artillery shells. Soldiers from the Army’s engineer battalion will be deployed along the road that leads from Sano to the Bordina location, where an area clearance will be necessary. This operation follows previous actions taken in the Prà dela Fam area, where three explosive devices had been reported in the waters off the coast.
The Municipality of Mori has issued a notice to inform the community and prevent any potential alarm regarding the noise expected during the detonation operations. To ensure safety, the road section leading to Bordina will be closed to traffic from 10:00 AM until approximately 1:00 PM, with the entire area monitored by local Carabinieri.
