Intensive **extraordinary checks** continue in the Mantova area, ordered by the Mantova Police Headquarters to enhance **public safety** and combat crimes with a greater social impact. Last Tuesday, the operations led to the identification of 251 individuals and the inspection of 89 vehicles, including a commercial establishment. In this context, the police reported a 31-year-old Georgian for attempted theft and a 53-year-old Neapolitan for thefts in local supermarkets, while a 40-year-old Tunisian was arrested inside a gaming hall for violating house arrest.
At the same time, the Immigration Office conducted checks on irregular foreign nationals, carrying out two expulsions: a 45-year-old Moroccan, with significant criminal records, was transferred to the Repatriation Center in Bari, while a 32-year-old compatriot was repatriated from Malpensa. Authorities emphasize that the criminal proceedings are still in the investigative phase and that all suspects are presumed innocent until a final ruling is made.
